Charity concert "100 years of tango (1911-2011)" was held on January 13 in St.Petersburg House of Nationalities. The initiator of the event was Parish Church of the Nativity of St.John the Baptist (Shlisselburg). The event was attended by 80 people, among them representatives of the Friendly Society of St.Petersburg Arkhangelsk parishioners, the abbot Eustathius - prior of a temple of St.John the Baptist (Shlisselburg), Eugene Nosko - churchwarden of this Church and staff of SPHN.

The document was signed by Vladimir, Metropolitan of St. Petersburg and Ladoga, and the chief of the Federal Migration Service of St.Petersburg and Leningrad region Helena Dunayeva, ITAR-TASS reported. Every year tens of thousands of immigrants come to the northern capital on a permanent or temporary residence permit. The purpose of the agreement is to join forces on social and cultural adaptation of migrants arriving in the region, taking into account the age-old tradition of social ministry of the Orthodox Church and given the priorities of migration policy.
