National Mass-Media
The life of national diasporas of St.-Petersburg is revealed in the monoethnic press published in native and russian languages.
Russian-speaking newspapers published in the city are: Jewish «Ami» («My People »), « Idud Hasidim », « Hesed shalom », Azerbaijan «Àzeri». Bilingual editions: Tatar «Nur», Armenian «Àvatamk» ("is believed"), Polish « Gazeta Peterburgska », Estonian «Peterburi teataya» («Petersburg bulletin »), German « St. Peterburgische Zeitung » (« Saint-Petersburg newspaper »), Finnish «Inkeri», « Inkerin Uutiset », « Omal maal » (« My ground ») and others.
Union
of writers « Multinational St.-Petersburg » operates in St.-Petersburg since
1996, basically which purpose of development of native languages, cultures and
literature of different peoples. Regional social movement «Calm city» is
publishing the newspaper "Caravan" at support of Committee for
external relations of St.-Petersburg.
