Solemn event dedicated to 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and Korean Republic took place on the 15th of August in recreation center "Gruzino - 4" (urban village Grusino, Leningrad region, 11 am - 6 pm). Representatives of St. Petersburg different cultural associations, members of St. Petersburg Foreign Relations Committee and St. Petersburg House of nationalities, president of St. Petersburg Korean national - cultural autonomy, General consul of Korean Republic in St. Petersburg Lee Sok - Pe took part in the celebration of this significant jubilee.

Ethno press-club regular meeting for journalists who specialize in ethno subjects
On the 4th of August Ethno press-club regular meeting took place on the territory of St.Petersburg House of nationalities (St. Petersburg, Mokhovaya str. 15, 4 pm - 8 pm). II International culture festival "Slavonic light" took place on the 10th of July in Estonian city Yihvi. Organizers: Baltic Publishing house "Inforing" with support of St. Petersburg Foreign Relations Committee and St. Petersburg Culture Committee (within the frames of St. Petersburg government Program of Russian Federation state policy realization in point of compatriots leaving abroad), Russian Federation Embassy in Estonia.

«Пеледыш пайрем» (Peledish pajrem) - Mari national festival - took place on the 3d of July in the urban village Grusino (Leningrad region). Mari national autonomy of St. Petersburg was an initiator and organizer of the event.

Extended meeting of the St. Petersburg House of Nationalities Coordination Board.
The program Tolerance 2011-15 was discussed in detail during the extended meeting of the St. Petersburg House of Nationalities coordination board on the 28th of June. Representatives of national and cultural autonomies, unions, expatriates' communities, members of the St. Petersburg Foreign Relations Committee and the St. Petersburg House of Nationalities took part in the discussion.

On the 20th of June during celebration of 300 years of the Armenian community in St.Petersburg a gala concert took place in the St.Petersburg Academic Philharmonic Hall named after A.A. Shostakovich.

Ysyakh 2010 on the Neva river bank
The national Yakut festival Ysyakh welcoming the summer season took place on the 13th of June in the picturesque park Olgino near St. Petersburg. More than 500 people took part in the celebration. Among visitors were representatives of St. Petersburg Administration, members of Yakut Diaspora in St. Petersburg, students and postgraduates from Yakutia, studying in St. Petersburg universities, and also a large delegation from Suntar Ulus.
