National culture festival Slavonic Fair
National culture festival Slavonic Fair took place on the 15th of May in the 300 Anniversary Park (address: St. Petersburg, Primorskij prospect, 74). Children and youth centre Youth Creative Forum Kitezh-plus was an initiator of the event with support and active collaboration of the St. Petersburg Primorsky district administration, St. Petersburg Primorsky district municipal foundations, St. Petersburg Municipal Improvements and Road Management Committee, the St. Petersburg House of Nationalities, St. Petersburg national and cultural organizations and associations.
Events program included:
Official opening ceremony; Concert program with active participation of national creative groups; Functioning of 11 subject spots; Round table Slavonic St. Petersburg. History and Up-to-dateness"; and a final part - closing of the festival.
8000 people took part in a festival, among them - residents of different St. Petersburg districts, guests of the city, children and adults, public organizations, representatives and active members of St. Petersburg national and cultural organization and associations, media representatives.
